What began as a private family lakehouse reno of a 1970's 3 bedroom ranch morphed into a full scale short term rental investment property for the clients that sleeps up to 16! Our clients initially wanted a retreat for their family to use and entertain business associates and as renovations began and walls literally shifted, we were asked to modify the plans to allow for accomodations for a short term rental option. So we pivoted! And in the process were able to fully build out and furnish the existing two car garage into a 'bunk room' suite to sleep six and transform an existing sunroom addition into a space that could sleep an additional four! From overseeing the renovation process & spec'ing new paint, flooring, tile, lighting & plumbing to fully furnishing each room & adding in our Hospitality Program to accommodate up to 16, we transformed this property into a place both our clients and their guests can make memories at for years to come! A few of our favorite finds for this project included the custom guanacaste dining table we designed & had built to seat 10, the handwoven chair in the master bedroom, vintage Surfrider Aquaplane in the bunk room and so many one of a kind artwork pieces throughout!
